st notice: recover an appointment that was already confirmed
You confirmed an appointment but can no longer find its email or PDF notice. Start by recovering the document and checking the existing booking before creating another one. Losing a file does not itself mean the appointment was cancelled.
Find the booking email
Search for the prefecture or sub-prefecture, procedure and date. Check archived, spam and deleted messages, and the inbox used when booking. If you find an old validation email, look for the message received after validation: it may contain the final notice rather than an action still waiting to be completed.
If you never validated the appointment, that is a different situation. Our missing confirmation email article covers it. The Vienne calendar terms in Isère illustrate a module requiring action within a limited time. An old date selection therefore does not prove that a booking was confirmed.
Consult the booking without cancelling it
If the email provides appointment management, first consult the available information. Do not use a cancellation action merely to recover a document. The Mayenne medical FAQ refers users to appointment management within the notice email. Available features may differ between calendars.
Creating a new booking can involve modification or cancellation rules that should be understood first. Our rescheduling and cancellation guide explains the distinction. It does not guarantee that every office offers a direct date change.
Ask the competent office
If the inbox and module do not help, use the contact published by the relevant office. Explain that the appointment was confirmed, give the procedure and known date, and ask how to recover the notice or verify the booking. Send personal references only to the official service through its specified channel.

Check location and documents again
After recovering the details, check the place, time, appointment category and documents.
