No prefecture appointments available: first check the correct calendar, territorial eligibility and application channel. A full schedule, an ANEF application and a technical error require different responses. There is no national appointment opening time.
Identify what prevents booking
Read the official procedure page before refreshing. A full calendar message means the offered dates have been booked. An inaccessible page or an error after validation may indicate a technical problem. A residence permit collection calendar cannot accept a first application; some applications use ANEF without an initial office appointment.
Val-de-Marne's official FAQ explains the full calendar message. Check your own department's instructions: an empty schedule alone does not establish that the service has closed.
Check the office and prepare your file
- Identify whether the appointment concerns submission, renewal, fingerprints, collection or a medical board. Our fingerprint appointment guide helps you read the notice.
- Check which office may handle your case. An available sub-prefecture is useful only if it is competent. Read the rules for a medical board in another department before broadening your search.
- Gather the required documents and use an accessible email address to receive and, where requested, confirm the booking.
Monitor local openings
Publication schedules depend on the procedure. For example, the Bobigny nationality declaration instructions announce Monday morning openings fifteen days ahead. This does not apply to every office. Cancelled appointments can also become available again.
Use the live calendar map or an availability alert. An alert helps you respond but does not book the date or guarantee it remains available when you reach the official website.
Booking and monitoring
Report a persistent difficulty
Keep dated screenshots, the link used and the office's replies. Explain your procedure and deadline through the official form or contact channel. Appointment access and refusal to register an application are distinct situations; Service Public's appeal guidance specifically addresses registration refusals. Ask an association or legal professional which steps apply to your circumstances.
If you already have an appointment and want a different date, read the cancellation and rescheduling rules. Some offices require cancelling before making another booking.
